Built in the 1940's an old family homeplace in Newnan on Old Corinth Road is now the home for "The Potting Shed". Anna Thompson enjoyed playing among the flowers and vegetable gardens of the family homeplace. In later years the small attractive home she remembered as a child had become a run down rental house that was no longer bringing much pleasure to any one in her family. Anna's ideas and dreams have been put into reality which includes the homeplace restoration. Her thrill and enjoyment of gardening, gifts and decor has become a way of life and now a quaint little business that expands throughout the community of Newnan. Folks that visit will enjoy a stroll through the old house (now completely restored) to peruse the specialty gift items for any home decor. A leisurely walk through the grounds will entice you into purchasing some of their nursery flavor for your personal enjoyment. |
